About
Founded in 2001, the Keyport Fire Museum & Education Center celebrates the history of firefighting culture of Keyport as well as creating an environment to inform the public on fire safety, volunteerism within the community, and to educate the public on fire prevention activities.
The firefighting industry of Keyport was initiated from the Great Fire of 1877, destroying a significant amount of property. Since then, firefighting has grown and has become an integral part of the local community.
